We are so amazed at the Lord and how He provides in our need. A few weeks ago the congregation voted over Zoom! to extend a divine call to Jenean Cherney to teach our 2nd-4th graders at CCA this coming fall. And it was with grateful hearts that the Academy staff and board was informed on Monday that Jenean Cherney accepted our call!
Mrs. Cherney grew up in Mankato at Our Savior Lutheran Church. She graduated from Concordia, Seward, Nebraska, with a Lutheran teaching certificate and many honors as a track athlete. Since graduating she has taught in both Iowa and Wisconsin. Finally her husband, Mitchell, got a job here in St. Peter and they came to live in Mankato again - JUST in time to fill our teaching position! God is so good!
We are looking forward to getting to know Jenean better. Please pray for her and her husband as they settle down and make a home in Mankato! Pray for her to find a wonderful home with the CCA family as well!
