Now that there is a recommendation to wear masks, we see them more and more wherever we go. But who of us has them? They are in quite short supply! Since the early days of this crisis there have been at least 2 "mask makers" working hard in this congregation (that we know of). Praise God they have been busy sending them off to the various places that are needing them!
Then we called the senior living facility next door to the church (Monarch Meadows) and inquired if they needed any. Indeed they do! They need 30-40!
So! Just throwing it out to any and all of our seamstresses out there: haul out that old sewing machine that perhaps you haven't touched in years... oil up the mechanisms and spool up the thread! Let's see what we, the people of God, can do!
